An Evening of Mediumship with Psychic Tony Stockwell
By Tony Stockwell

Remarkably compelling, amazingly detailed and always humorous.

The popular star of TV’s Street Psychic, Psychic Private Eyes and Psychic Academy, Tony Stockwell has a long established credibility as one of the top Intuitive Mediums and has shared the stage all round the world with international mediums such as Colin Fry, James van Praagh and Lisa Williams. Tony demonstrates his belief that those who have passed can communicate with their loved ones with detailed messages frequently including names, dates and locations and all  delivered with emotion, sensitivity and empathy. The evening may include psychometry, photographs readings and psychic prediction.

Recent legislative guidelines insist that any Evening of Mediumship should be billed ‘for entertainment purposes’. Tony certainly uses his natural wit, showmanship and Cockney charisma to entertain but more important, Mediumship has the potential to change someone’s life and instil in them a sense of peace, comfort and purpose. We hope that nobody can fail to come away untouched by the experience.

One For The Road
By Willy Russell

A RAODS Green Room Studio Production

Dennis loses patience with domesticity and makes a break for the freedom of the open road.

Dennis and Pauline live in a bungalow in Phase Two of a northern housing estate, and are serving hachis a parmentier to their guests Jane and Roger. Pauline is very pleased about this. Dennis is less enthusiastic – he will be forty tomorrow, feels like he is wasting his life, and would rather they just called it cottage pie. Outside, Dennis’s parents are lost on the estate, and vandals are decapitating garden gnomes and obscenely vandalising vegetables.

As Dennis’s anarchic streak reveals itself, what was supposed to be an impeccably middle-class dinner becomes a first-class row about middle age, affairs, and what’s locked in the bureau.

Russell’s hilarious and sharply observed play was first performed at the Lyric Theatre, London in 1987.

Fleetingwood Mac
By Fleetingwood Mac

A young and exciting new tribute to the legendary band, Fleetwood Mac.

We didn’t just want to be  another tribute band, with tacky wigs and fancy dress outfits. Instead we wanted to bring across the live sound of Fleetwood Mac, with just one guitar, a keyboard, a drum kit, a man on the bass and of course, the vocals!

As much as we aim to create a genuine Fleetwood Mac sound, we can’t help but give it a modern edge, it’s just the way we play. How else are five people supposed to play tribute to a band that have lasted nearly 50 years?

Songs you can expect to hear at our shows: Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way, Sisters of the Moon, Oh Well, Tusk, I’m so Afraid, Everywhere, Songbird, Gold Dust Woman, Don’t Stop, You Make Loving Fun, Black Magic Woman, Dreams, Little Lies, Gypsy, Say You Love Me, The Chain, Landslide, Seven Wonders, Silver Spring, Second Hand News, Isn’t it Midnight, Sara, As Long As You Follow, Oh Diane, Big Love, Blue Letter, Hold Me, Green Manalishi, World Turning, Edge Of Seventeen.

We also want to introduce the songs to a new generation of Fleetwood Mac fans, who just like ourselves, weren’t even born when the band were in their prime. We do not go on stage pretending to be Fleetwood Mac, instead we go on as who we are, five young musicians who love the music, and want to share the music of one of the worlds greatest bands to a wider  audience.

Mary Shelley
By Helen Edmundson

A RAODS Production

Daughter of Mary Wollstonecraft. Lover of Shelley. Author of Frankenstein..

Helen Edmundson's Mary Shelley is a play that explores the extraordinary life of the author of Frankenstein. It was first performed in a co-production between Shared Experience, Nottingham Playhouse and West Yorkshire Playhouse, at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, on 16 March 2012.

The play centres on a crucial episode in Mary's early life. Her parents, radical feminist writer Mary Wollstonecraft and political philosopher William Godwin, are struggling under the weight of heavy debts. When young poet Percy Bysshe Shelley becomes a regular visitor to the house, his financial stability and dangerous charisma charms the family, especially Godwin’s three young daughters. But it is feisty young Mary who becomes the object of his affections. The play details their scandalous elopement when Mary was just sixteen and the impact it has upon her stepmother, her sisters and above all, her troubled father. Three years after this life-changing event, Mary would write one of the greatest novels in the English language, Frankenstein, which changed the literary landscape forever.
