Fleetingwood Mac
By Fleetingwood Mac

A young and exciting new tribute to the legendary band, Fleetwood Mac.

We didn’t just want to be  another tribute band, with tacky wigs and fancy dress outfits. Instead we wanted to bring across the live sound of Fleetwood Mac, with just one guitar, a keyboard, a drum kit, a man on the bass and of course, the vocals!

As much as we aim to create a genuine Fleetwood Mac sound, we can’t help but give it a modern edge, it’s just the way we play. How else are five people supposed to play tribute to a band that have lasted nearly 50 years?

Songs you can expect to hear at our shows: Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way, Sisters of the Moon, Oh Well, Tusk, I’m so Afraid, Everywhere, Songbird, Gold Dust Woman, Don’t Stop, You Make Loving Fun, Black Magic Woman, Dreams, Little Lies, Gypsy, Say You Love Me, The Chain, Landslide, Seven Wonders, Silver Spring, Second Hand News, Isn’t it Midnight, Sara, As Long As You Follow, Oh Diane, Big Love, Blue Letter, Hold Me, Green Manalishi, World Turning, Edge Of Seventeen.

We also want to introduce the songs to a new generation of Fleetwood Mac fans, who just like ourselves, weren’t even born when the band were in their prime. We do not go on stage pretending to be Fleetwood Mac, instead we go on as who we are, five young musicians who love the music, and want to share the music of one of the worlds greatest bands to a wider  audience.

Silent Mind
By Theatre for Life Youth Theatre

As a society consumed by social media & device addiction, controlling overthinking is imperative for good mental health. The Searchers and Hollies Experience
By The Searchers and Hollies Experience

The Best of Both Worlds brings to the stage the magical hits of two legendary harmony bands. Each hit brings back a memory of the most high energy decade in pop music history.

The Searchers, from Liverpool, made their debut with the rise of MerseyBeat. Their very first recording Sweets For My Sweet went to number 1 in the charts. This was followed at No.2 by their third single Sugar And Spice. They then went on to have many more memorable chart hits. Who can forget Needles And Pins and When You Walk In The Room?

The Hollies are known as the most successful British Merseybeat singles band ever, having had chart hits in every decade since the 60s.  Catchy, melodic tunes are their trademark and they have had phenominal chart success. Stay, I Can't Let Go, Bus Stop, Sorry Suzanne, He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother, Here I Go Again, Just One Look and the haunting Air That I Breathe are just a few of their hits.

The Searchers and Hollies Experience is performed by the FOD Band who have been together since 1983. They have a particular insight into the Searchers music having backed Tony Jackson, the original lead singer of The Searchers. The FOD Band love the harmonies and the melodic material these groups recorded. This is what motivated them to combine the two groups hits into this exciting 2 hour tribute show featuring over 30 hit songs.

Mary Shelley
By Helen Edmundson

A RAODS Production

Daughter of Mary Wollstonecraft. Lover of Shelley. Author of Frankenstein..

Helen Edmundson's Mary Shelley is a play that explores the extraordinary life of the author of Frankenstein. It was first performed in a co-production between Shared Experience, Nottingham Playhouse and West Yorkshire Playhouse, at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, on 16 March 2012.

The play centres on a crucial episode in Mary's early life. Her parents, radical feminist writer Mary Wollstonecraft and political philosopher William Godwin, are struggling under the weight of heavy debts. When young poet Percy Bysshe Shelley becomes a regular visitor to the house, his financial stability and dangerous charisma charms the family, especially Godwin’s three young daughters. But it is feisty young Mary who becomes the object of his affections. The play details their scandalous elopement when Mary was just sixteen and the impact it has upon her stepmother, her sisters and above all, her troubled father. Three years after this life-changing event, Mary would write one of the greatest novels in the English language, Frankenstein, which changed the literary landscape forever.
