The Pillowman
By Martin McDonagh

A RAODS Production

Telling stories can be very dangerous...

From the award winning writer/director of In Bruges, Seven Psycopaths and Hangmen comes arguably his greatest play.

A part-time writer is interrogated under extreme conditions in a police state because some of his stories match exactly the M.O. of recent child killings . What is the writer's connection to the murders, if any? Why has his brother also been brought in for questioning? What else is the writer hiding? What are his stories about? And what dark secret is he concealing?

This multi-layered  play, which challenges & shocks, also has a rich seam of black humour running through it. This is a unique theatrical experience, so don't miss it!

"Sometimes you're in a play and you feel it can only go one way, here it's like whiplash "
Billy Crudup on the Broadway production of Pillowman

The Wit and Songs of Noel Coward
By Peter Gill

Pianist and entertainer, Peter Gill presents a tribute to the wit and song-writing skill of that most English of Englishmen, Noel Coward, who said of himself I am an enormously talented man and there is no point  in denying  it. Born in 1899, Coward was an actor, writer, composer, director, producer, and in later life painter– and he excelled at them all. Peter will remind us of his dazzling wit and perform such gems as A Bar on The Piccola Marina, Don’t Let’s Be Beastly To The Germans, Mrs Worthington, There Are Bad Times Just Around The Corner and Mad Dogs & Englishmen.

'A splendid evening's entertainment’
The Noel Coward Society

Pop-Up Bowie
By Paul Antony

The award winning 'Pop Up Bowie'. A stunning tribute to David Bowie.

'Pop Up Bowie' performs the greatest hits of David Bowie, from every era of 'the guy's' career from the 70's through to the nineties and beyond. The front man, Paul Antony, a huge fan of Bowie, accurately portrays the charismatic performance of his hero.

Paul's vocal and visual likeness to David is remarkable. Pop-Up Bowie recently had the pleasure of performing an acoustic gig for Maggi Ronson, sister of the legendary 'Spider from Mars' and Bowie side man Mick Ronson.

'Singing for Maggi Ronson was an amazing and emotional moment for me'' Paul said.
