New York, Christmas Eve 2008. Joey (Joanna) has come to America, from London, looking for her Father, George, who left without explanation two years ago. Instead she finds Sam, a 19 year old American, who is immediately attracted to her. Why did Joey's Father disappear, and why is she really in New York? This is a play about personal and family relationships, growing up, making life choices and the differences between being American and English.
