Car Parking

There is a 40-bay car park at the rear of the theatre. Please note that parking is not permitted in front of the row of shops in the Plaza Parade, so for alternative parking within a 5 minute walk of the theatre, please see the map in the panel on the left. (Customers of the Plaza may also use the Alma Road Surgery car park for evening performances).

The car park is also available for daytime hire - please follow this link for details.

Greenroom shows are held on the ground floor - consequently there are no access issues for use of the greenroom.

Access to the auditorium may be gained by stair lift and we can accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs in the front row. If you wish to use the lift or have difficulty in climbing the stairs to the auditorium, please notify the Box Office of your requirements when booking tickets so that suitable seats can be allocated and Front of House staff notified.

PLEASE NOTE

The maximum weight capacity for the lift means that we are unable to accommodate powered wheelchairs on the lift.

If you have difficulty climbing stairs, it is recommended that you book seats for the front row, as there are also stairs within the auditorium.

If you are a wheelchair user attending a show in the man auditorium, please arrive at the Plaza thirty minutes before the show starts, as use of the stair lift temporarily blocks one of the main auditorium access stairways. Thank you.

Guide Dogs are allowed in the auditorium. Please notify the Box Office if you wish to bring a guide dog so that suitable space can be allocated.

Image of an ear A Sennheiser transmission system is installed in the auditorium to help patrons who have difficulty hearing. The lightweight unit has a stethoscope-type earpiece. It is easy to operate and comfortable in use. Please ask at the Box Office to borrow one of these units, and you will be shown how to use it. Please return it to the Box Office after use. There is no charge for the use of the headsets. This unit operates in the auditorium only.
